“Check out of life”

Films: A Werewolf in England (2020)

Alias: Various, notably Minnie

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Oh yes, another werewolf movie that takes place in Europe. And once again, the title piggybacks on one of the best wolf films out there. But hey, it has its own sort of retro charm to it. And the titular lycanthropes are nothing to sneeze at.

History: At the Three Claws Inn, the keepers are a rather kooky bunch. They gleefully talk about the guests' impending doom, and they seem to know exactly where they put their establishment. That bit's important because every blood moon, a pack of werewolves arrive to slaughter any human they come across. The innkeepers not only have no intention of helping the trapped guests, but they also will prove to be just as monstrous, if not more so.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Many werewolves and humans end up killing each other during that long night, though the final werewolf is vanquished when someone shoots the stained glass so that the sunlight kills it. However, as the survivors leave, a werewolf capable of tolerating the day follows...

Powers/Abilities: Turn during the blood moon, and are described (and shown) as being strong as giants. There is also the curse that travels via werewolf bite.

Weakness: Silver bullets and sunlight, the latter of which melts them away.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-While they seem to have a bit of trouble walking alright, these werewolves are quite the savages. Looking bulky and mangy at the same time, they tear through the inn to massacre everyone, and it isn't pretty when they do. Still, the people there were bad enough, it didn't really need hairy monsters for there to be a bloodbath.

Trivia: -This film was directed by Charlie Steeds, who also did "Vampire Virus" and "Winterskin".

-Not much else to say.
